One day my wife surprised me by explaining that she had just signed me up for a beginner's art workshop titled "Clay Explorations." 

 

I was a little bit surprised because I had never thought about working with clay, but I also knew that my wife often had the best ideas.  So I went with it...and discovered the joy of clay...as well as an amazing group of humble, caring, and nurturing artists.  The entire experience helped to solidify my artistic journey and showed me how love, creativity, and art could flourish within a community of learners.
